and Annetta Morris, along with the employees of Hazel Creek, Inc.,
a taxidermy studio located in the very heart of turkey country in
northeast Missouri, specialize in the art of wild turkey taxidermy.
Cally has been a taxidermist almost as long as he's been a hunter;
he started hunting at 8 years old and took a mail order taxidermy
course when he was 10. By the time he was 20, Cally was running
his full-time studio. Cally has competed and done well at the State,
National and World taxidermy competitions. He won the NWTF Grand
National Wild Turkey Taxidermy Championship for three consecutive
years. In 1997, Cally won the coveted "Best In World Bird"
at the World Taxidermy Championship. He is the first to win the
World Title for birds with a wild turkey mount. Cally and Annetta
continue to be leaders in innovative turkey mounting techniques,
and produce quality turkey heads in one of the industry's largest
freeze-drying companies. |
